Canine Vaccines
Canine Vaccination Schedule – vaccinations should be given every 3-4 weeks starting at 6 weeks of age and ending at 16 weeks of age. Please note that your pet is not fully immunized until they have had all of the following vaccines and boosters.

heartworm prevention-this should be given for the rest of your pets life, we strongly recommend giving it year-round

spay or neuter (if you do not plan on breeding your animal)
After the initial series of vaccinations, Distemper and Bordetella will be giving on a yearly basis along with a complete physical exam. The initial Rabies vaccination is good for 1 year; all other Rabies boosters will be good for 3 years. A heartworm test will be performed every other year for all pets on heartworm prevention. The initial heartworm test will be performed at 12 months of age.
The Distemper vaccination is a combo shot including Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo virus, Corona virus, Adeno virus, and Lepto. A Bordetella vaccination should be given if you plan on boarding your dog or if he/she will be groomed on a regular basis.
Feline Vaccines
Feline Vaccination Schedule- a series of 2 vaccinations are given every 3-4 weeks starting at 8 weeks of age and ending at 16 weeks of age. Please note that your pet is not fully immunized until it has had all of the following vaccinations and boosters.
