Ralph Hecht, DVM
Ralph Hecht is one of the owners of Celina Animal Hospital. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1972. He is currently a member of the AVMA, OVMA, Celina Lions Club, American Association of Bovine Practioners, Mercer Health Board, Chamber of Commerce, and he is a past represntative on the OVMA board. He enjoys walking, bicycling, yardwork including landscaping and maintenance, local sports teams, and Ohio State football. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Craig Miesse, DVM
Craig Miesse was one of the owners of Celina Animal Hospital. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. He was a member of the AVMA and OVMA. He was previously on the OVMA Board of Directors, and is now on the State of Ohio Veterinary Licensing Board. He was a life member of the NRA, and was a member of the Mercer County Sportsman and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Dr. Miesse had 1 dog and 2 cats. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, college football, and teaching Sunday School. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Dr. Miesse passed away in June of 2021, but will always be in our hearts.
Andrew Roth, DVM
Andrew Roth started at Celina Animal Hospital in August 2010. He graduated from Ross University in 2010. Dr. Roth has a boxer and two cats at home. When not working he enjoys spending time with family.
Melinda Homan, DVM
Melinda Homan started working for Celina Animal Hospital in July 2016. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the AVMA and AABP. She has one cat and one dog. She loves biking, reading, crocheting, playing scrabble, and spending time with her family and friends.

Nikki George, RVT
Nikki has been working for Celina Animal Hospital since April 2003. She received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College in 2003. Nikki is currently a member of the NAVT. She enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, family, and friends. Nikki has a golden retriever name Willy and a cat name Rainbow Dash.
Kelly Roth, RVT
Kelly has been working as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Celina Animal Hospital since November 2005. She received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College in 2003. Kelly is currently a member of the OAVT. She has one dog and two cats. When not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends.
Bailey King, RVT
Bailey started working for Celina Animal Hospital in January 2019. She received her Associated Degree at International Business College and Vet Tech Institute in 2014. She has three dogs and six cats. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and running. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Kendra Sutter, RVT
Kendra started working for Celina Animal Hospital in April 2020. She graduated with her Associates Degree from Bradford School in Columbus in March 2018. Her and her husband have a St Bernard named Ace, a labradoodle named Allie, and a miniature poodle named Leo. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.

Susan Hecht
Susan has been with the Celina Animal Hospital for many years. Susan is in charge of the book keeping. When not working, Susan enjoys going to school functions and sporting events for her grandchildren and traveling to Arizona to visit family. She also enjoys watching sports with her family.
Susan passed away in October of 2021, but will always be a member of Celina Animal Hospital’s family.
Stacy Hecht
Stacy grew up with Celina Animal Hospital, being one of the daughters of Ralph and Susan. Stacy has taken over book keeping in place of her mother. Stacy has two dogs and three cats. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchild when not working.
Tim Axe
Tim started working at Celina Animal Hospital in April 1984. He is the office manager for the Celina Pet Center. Tim has a degree from Wright State University in organizational communication. He has a miniature schnauzer named Edna, that he loves dearly. When not working, Tim enjoys watching sports, boating, doing home improvements and just being outdoors.
Carol Smith
Carol Smith started working for Celina Animal Hospital in September 1990. She has three miniature schnauzers, an African gray parrot, a myers parrot, and a black headed caique. In her spare time Carol enjoys shopping, traveling, and looking forward to full retirement.
Cassie Vanover
Cassie has been working for Celina Animal Hospital since April 2001. She has training as a medical assistant. Cassie has a shih tzu named Mia, a cav. king charles named Maddie, and cat named Chase . She enjoys spending time with family and friends when she’s not working.
Barb Wachauf
Barb has been with Celina Animal Hospital since October 2003. She works out of our St. Marys office, Celina Rd. Animal Clinic. She currently has a bichon frise named Jasper, a boston terrier named Gabbi, and too many farm cats to count. Outside of work, Barb enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Maggie Sovinski
Maggie started working for Celina Animal Hospital in September of 2021. Maggie worked for a veterinarian practice in Michigan for 4 years before coming to us. Maggie has a cardigan welsh corgi named Brielle. She also has two cats and a horse that reside in Michigan. When not at work, Maggie enjoys going to festivals, playing games, and being with friends and family.
Tiffany Gaynor
Tiffany started working for Celina Animal Hospital in April of 2023. Tiffany worked as a technician for 6 years at another practice prior to coming to us. Tiffany currently has a miniature schnauzer named Walter. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys kayaking, fishing, camping, and spending time outside with her friends and family.
Erica Johnsman
Erica started working for Celina Animal Hospital in July of 2023. Erica is in school to become a technician and will graduate in May of 2024. Erica currently has a husky/lab named Roscoe, and two labrador retrievers named Goose and Dozer. When not working, Erica enoys riding and training horses, ATV/UTV trail riding, and outdoor activities.
Jenn Wolfe
Jenn started working for Celina Animal Hospital in October of 2023. Jenn graduated from Columbus state in 2007 with her technician degree. Jenn had worked as a technician in shelter medicine, emergency, and high volume and is currently in the process of renewing her Ohio license. Jenn is married to a military veteran named Matt and they have a pitbull terrier name Leroy. When not at work, Jenn enjoys cooking, travelling, dog training, and enjoys watching her nephews.
